You don't know me yet, but trust me when I say that I'm skeptical of most things. I'm the type of person who always has to see the facts. I'm the person sitting in the back of the room always asking why? I'm telling you this, so you fully understand the words you're reading. I'm definitely not the type of person who lies or embellishes, and I'm for sure not the type of person who gives reviews easily. But... I do consider myself a writer, and just like most people, I think (or at least hope) that I have something to offer the world. Hence this blog.
Now, you might be asking yourself, Is this a blog post about Hello Fresh or some dramatic girl trying to start a blog? Just endure me for a bit longer. To fully be able to trust my review about this service, I think you should understand a few more things about me.
Along with being a skeptic, I'm also a 32-year-old woman.
I'm married.
I've been with my husband for ten years.
Most importantly, my husband and I have chosen not to have kids.
A child-free life is taboo, especially in a rural community like mine. I only bring this up so you can understand my situation. You see, while I'm still young, I'm at the point in my life where I feel like everything is coming together. I have a good job where I work from home. I don't have kids to support, so I'm not feeling strapped for money. I don't have to pay for things like daycare, sports, or other school activities. Because of the lifestyle that I've chosen, Hello Fresh has been an amazing new addition to my life (I told you we were getting close to my point). So...here are some things that I love about this meal service.
When you are a family of two, Hello Fresh is hella' affordable.
It removes the stress of planning meals and grocery shopping.
It's gotten me back into the groove of cooking.
Most importantly, every recipe I have cooked so far has been exquisite (remember, my nature is not to embellish things).
For any man or woman feeling like you are at a point in your life where things have settled down, and you have the money to spend, I definitely recommend trying out Hello Fresh. I know it's not necessarily hard to go shopping for food yourself, or plan meals, but until you stop doing it, you don't realize how much energy it takes.
I would honestly say, that because of Hello Fresh, I have more time to focus on things I enjoy. Hey, if cooking is your jam, then more power to you. But...if you are feeling exhausted, strapped for time, and are in a position like mine, go ahead and give Hello Fresh a try.
I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This is seriously a picture of my meal. Can you say, Hello Delicious?
